Using the bottom toolbar, you can:

bullet WMI Objects Scan: Scan the selected computer for the published WMI counters.
bullet Stop Scan: Stop an active counter scan.
bullet Check All: Check all scanned/added counters.
bullet Uncheck All: Uncheck all scanned/added counters.

You can use the "WMI Objects Scan" button to add counters. Clicking on it, you'll be presented with a dialog that allows you to choose which counter classes you would like to scan the computer for. To edit or remove a particular counter, select a counter and use the buttons on the top toolbar or right-click the counter and choose the corresponding option on the context menu.

bullet Data Type: Type of the data of this counter, i.e., whether this counter is a character string or a numerical value.
bullet 1st Order Filter: Check to create an additional tag (with "_Filtered" in the name) that applies a low pass filter in this item. This is only available for numerical variables.
