Real
Test Case
General Test Information
This is a real test case using the server to
monitor some Windows computers over a fast network.
In a typical network environment there are computers with different
software configurations, consequently
different response times which may interfere in performance.

Test Results
In this Real Test Case, the described system
configuration was monitored during 1 hour of operation and the following
resources were monitored during this time.
XR PerfMon Tools Server Processor Usage
Processor usage was monitored
on every second and the average processor load was 30%.

Server Processor Usage
XR PerfMon Tools Server Memory Usage
Memory usage was monitored on
every second and the average memory use was 8MB.

Server Memory Usage
XR PerfMon Tools Server Network Usage
Network usage was monitored
on every second and the average network use was 3% for data in
RX channel and 1% for data in TX channel.
These values were calculated based on a 100Mbps ethernet link.
Server Network Usage
XRatel PerfMon Tools server sucessfully monitored
nearly 2000 PERFMON items every second with low resources usage.
This situation can be easily reproduced by tuning the server profile
and scanning only useful items.
