Computer View This panel shows all configured computers. Here you can see which computers are slow and control the enable state of each one. It is possible to see how many items are published for each computer, helping optimization attempts on particular ones.

Computer View



Column Descriptions:

bullet Address: Address of the computer on this network.
bullet Description: Computer description, as configured in the FrontEnd.
bullet Items: Number of counters monitored on the computer.
bullet Scan Rate (ms): The configured scan rate for the device, in milliseconds.
bullet Scan Time (ms): Average response time for this computer, in milliseconds.
bullet Overlap: Indicates that the configured scan rate cannot be maintained, due to excessive response time from the computer. If this happens, you might wish to lower the number of monitored items on the computer or reduce the scan rate (increase the time).
bullet Enabled: Current enable state for the computer.


You can change the enable state of any computer in this list. Just right-click the selected computer and change the state as you want.
