Chart Configuration The Chart List shows all charts for this profile. A chart can hold more than one variable plot and define some extra configuration parameters for all plots within. Chart grouping is important when you need to set different sampling rates for variables or when you need to set a different window size to accommodate more samples. Data for all charts are captured in real-time, even for charts that are not currently shown on screen.

You can customize the following parameters:

bullet Chart Name: Chart identification to be used inside Tag Explorer.
bullet Refresh Rate: The rate (in milliseconds) at which the Tag Explorer will plot new points to the chart.
bullet Horizontal Range: Specifies the range of values for the horizontal axis of the chart.
When the "Auto" option is selected, the range is automatically calculated based on available points.
bullet Vertical Range: Specifies the range of values for the vertical axis of the chart.
When the "Auto" option is selected, the range is automatically calculated based on available points.
bullet Horizontal Label: Label to be used for the chart's horizontal axis.
bullet Vertical Label: Label to be used for the chart's vertical axis.
bullet Database Limit: Defines whether there is a size limit for the chart's database file, or if it can grow indefinitely. If a size limit is configured, then old data will be thrown away in order to make space for new data when the limit is reached.
bullet Chart Active: Defines whether data will be collected and shown on the chart (checked) or not (unchecked).

After you are finished configuring the chart's parameters, click on the "OK" button to close the Chart Configuration dialog and update the chart settings. If you want to discard all changes, just click on the "Cancel" button.
