To zoom in a particular spot, you can easily set the region to zoom
in and the chart will automatically adjust both chart ranges along
with tag/plot data. Just click and hold in the position you want to
start zooming and drag to destination (mouse movement is from left
to right). The new visualization area (after zooming) will be marked
red.
Chart Zoom-In View
To zoom out from a particular spot, just click and hold in the
position you want to start zooming and drag to destination (mouse
movement is from right to left). The visualization area will be
defined by chart global ranges, with no zoom.
Chart Zoom-Out View
It is also possible to scroll plots without
changing the current visualization area. Just right-click and hold
inside the chart. Mouse movement will scroll the chart in the same
direction.
Using the Time Window View at the bottom of the screen, you can navigate
through historical data. If data capture is enabled, you can enable the
Realtime View, that will show you data as it is captured. If the Realtime
View is not enabled, you can freely navigate through captured data.
The Axis Start and Axis End comboboxes near to the Realtime View button
can be used to set the full range of the time navigator below them.
The red bar indicates which time window is currently shown on the chart.
You can freely move it by drag-and-drop, as well as resize it to be able
to shrink or grow the visualization interval.
Time Window View
You can also export captured data to a CSV file for use
in other applications. Clicking on "Export Data" on the
main toolbar allows you to select the time range and the
chart whose data should be exported, as well as the
output file name.
