Using it, you can:

  • Load Active Profile: Reads profile data from the server, discarding all changes you may have made.

  • New Profile: Creates a new configuration profile from scratch.

  • Load Profile: Loads a previously saved configuration to the screen.

  • Save Profile: Saves the current on screen configuration to a file.

  • Activate Profile: Apply the current profile's settings to the server. You'll need to restart the server for your changes to take effect.

Note that only checked items are published to the server, so all unchecked items (including User Tags) will be removed from the Tag List when you update the server namespace. If you want to keep a list of unchecked items for further use, save the current profile to a file before activating the profile.

When using XR Historian Service you can set the stored data period. This settings can be changed in the dialog Profile Settings found in Edit menu.
In this dialog, check the first box to activate limit of stored data and then select the number of months to be stored.
