Before you can monitor your SNMP devices or your computers, the servers must be configured, so you will have to define which devices or computers should be monitored and choose all settings to achieve a good configuration. These settings and SNMP devices configuration can be made using XRatel SNMP Server Configuration and for computers you can use XRatel PerfMon Server Configuration, which are standalone applications that configures the OPC Servers. These steps will show you how to build a simple configuration file for monitoring network devices and computer devices.
