Report Configuration is a tool that configures reports of monitored tags. The configuration is stored in a general profile named ReportData containing all reports. The configuration is easy and quick.
Report Configuration allows you to make reports of tags defined in XRatel SNMP Server and XRatel PerfMon Server alike.
The reports can be configured in a scheduler, composed by a graphical interface, or via Command Line.
Main Window
To start the configuration of the reports you must connect to XRatel SNMP Server or XRatel PerfMon Server running in a local or remote host. By connecting to a server, the list of reports referring to it will be filled automatically. You may also disconnect from a server and then, connect to another one.

The Report Configuration main window provides a list of all defined reports in the server that it is connected to. In the list you will find some simple information about the schedule and status of each one of them, these include the last and next run times and the schedule settings. Clicking a report launches the Report Settings window, where you can edit it. Any item of the list can be deleted, disabled or enabled directly in the list. To disable a report guarantees that it won't be generated until its enabling.

At any time, the server host and service can be changed through the Connect button. But button will not be available until the disconnection from the server. To disconnect from the server use the Disconnect button.

In the main window there is a button Create Report, available since a connection is established, that opens an empty Report Settings window. By clicking OK in this window you will define a new report.
The Create Report button is also available in a pop-up shown when you right click an empty spot in the report list.
The reports can be removed from the list by pressing the delete key or via the Delete Report button in the pop-up shown when you right click a report inn the list. By removing a report, all reference to its configuration will be lost.
To disable a report without removing it, just uncheck it's status checkbox in the list, as referred above, or its enabled checkbox in the Report Settings window.
As an option, the Report Settings may also be shown by clicking the Change Report Settings button in the pop-up menu.
