DCOM Configuration

1) Open DCOM Configuration Utility. (DCOMCNFG.EXE)

2) Find the component XRatel OPC Server into "My Computer" > "DCOM Config".

3) In "Security" tab select customize option for "Launch and Activation Permissions" and "Access Permissions" and click on "Edit" for both.

4) In "Launch Permission" dialog selects add user that will activate the OPC Server, generally this users is the user that run your SCADA software in your example scada_user.

5) In "Access Permissions" enable "Local Access" and "Remote Access" for user that will run OPC server. In your example

  Administrator User.

6) In "Identity" tab select  "This User" and fill User and Password fields with a user that is member of Administrators Group. In your example Administrator User.
