       Predefined Probes Config

The Predefined Probes are formatted Probes calculated from Raw Probes. XRatel Server Config can automatically detect all needed Raw Probes and configure them for you. All Predefined Probes are calculated in server, being unnecessary client configuration. All supported Probes are listed below:

SNMP Predefined Probes

bullet Interface Utilization: Interface percentual utilization. Computed using the interface speed and total communication (input/output)in bytes.

bullet Interface Effectiveness: Percentual volume packets discarded because of errors. Indicates the ratio between discarded packets and Interface Packet Rate.

bullet Interface Link State: Indicates the status of the interface. 0 indicates that this interface is inactive while 1 indicates that is active. 2 indicates that the interface is on test.

bullet Interface Unicast Rate: Percentual volume of unicast packets. Ratio between sent and received unicast packets and Interface Packet Rate probe.

bullet Interface Non Unicast Rate: Percentual number of sent and received broadcast and multicast packets. It is a ratio calculated using Interface Packet Rate probe.

bullet Interface Packet Rate: Total number of sent and received packets in this interface.

bullet Interface Data Rate: Total traffic data number in bytes. This probe is computed using the total sent and received packets from this interface.

bullet Interface Health: A percentual variable calculated using Interface Broadcast Rate, Interface Link Status and Interface Effectiveness. Each of these probes has an adjust, allowing you to make the best configuration Then, health is computed multiplying all source probes, allowing a unique probe to zero the health.

bullet Interface In Transmitted: Rate of packets received by the interface.

bullet Interface Out Transmitted:  Rate of packets transmitted by the interface.

bullet Interface Download Rate: Rate of data received per second.

bullet Interface Upload Rate: Rate of data transmitted per second.

bullet Interface Speed: Interface max speed.

bullet Interface Type: Interface type. E.g.:Ethernet, Wi-fi, etc.

WMI Predefined Probes

bullet Device Processor: Indicates the percentual CPU Utilization.

bullet Device Hard Disk: Measure the precentual Hard Disk Utilization.

bullet Device Physical Memory: Indicates the percentual physical memory utilization.

bullet Computer Health: Indicates the computer's health based on Processor, Hard Disk and Physical Memory. Each of these probes has an adjust, allowing you to make the best configuration. Then, health is computed multiplying all source probes, allowing a unique probe to zero the health.

Predefined Probes

There are eight columns in Predefined Probes list:

bullet Enable: Indicates if the server scan is active for current Probe.

bullet History: Add this Probe into XRatel Historian Service.

bulletDevice: Indicates the device owner of the Probe.

bullet Probe Name: Shows defined Probe name for current Probe.

bullet Probe Type: Informs the type of the Probe.

bullet Probe Description: An explain text for the Probe.

bullet Protocol: Shows the Protocol used to collect the Probe.

bullet IP Address: Indicates the IP Address which the Probe is coming from.

The Probe Properties dialog for Predefined Probes allows you to configure Probe's Name and Description. Health Probe field activates the inclusion of this Probe in device health calculation. This field is available only for Interface Health's Probes.
