A: XRatel Server Config is used to configure your XRatel OPC Server. Using it you can look for devices on your network, add probes, set alarms, configure XRatel Historian Service and manage profiles. See more.
A: Yes you can, but you must logon using an User with administrator privileges.
A: Yes, it is. Using the button Add Group you set a new group. When you activate the profile, automatically XRatel OPC Server will show the same group.
A: You can add your whole network using Scan Devices button. Using it, you can search for SNMP and WMI devices on your network. See more in XRatel Server Config help.
A: Firstly you must check if the device has SNMP/WMI correctly configured. After that, verify the IP information, and if you configured SNMP version and community correctly. Check also if WMI Auth Username and Password were correctly typed. Note that, for WMI connection, you need to adjust the permission from the monitored machine. See more.
A: You can create your own probe using Add User Define Probe button. See more in XRatel Server Config help.
A: Yes you can. Firstly click on Manage Database (MIB) button on Settings Tab. After that, use the button Load Database and choose the file to be imported.
A: If you want to make a report using the charts plotted by XRatel Probe Explorer you could use XRatel Report View. Using it you select the probe and the period of time. A report will be made, showing the chart, an average and many KPI. It is possible to schedule reports and to connect to remote hosts.
A: To create a new Report select the probe and click on Add Report. Note that while adding or editing a Report you can not remove anyone from the list.
A: KPI, or Key Performance Indicator, is values that helps you to analyse the chart, showing max and min values, average, total time, etc. In XRatel Report Config there is seven KPIs: Max Value, Min Value, Average Value, Total Time, Probe Availability, Probe Availability Percent and Device Availability.
A: Average Interval is the amount of time that will be use to calculate the average. The minimum value is 5.
