       Using XRatel Probe Explorer

       Panel Management

In Probe Explorer, data can be viewed in panels. Panels can plot charts, show current values and display alarms. To simplify data view, Probe Explorer can manage more then one panel at the same time, displaying only needed panels, but maintaining others available by a single click.

 

The Panel Toolbar will help you to manage panels.

Using it you can:

 

bullet Add New Panel: Create a new panel in current profile.

 

bullet Visible Panels: You can select which panels should be showed in Visible Panels list. Click on it and then mark all panels that should be visible.

 

To add a new Panel click on Add Panel. Then, Add Panel Dialog will open to simplify panel creation. Insert a name for the new panel in Panel Name and after, insert the Historian Server IP address in Server Host. You can browse your network to find the server clicking on Browse button. Notice that the host must have XRatel Historian Server running to connect correctly.

Go to the next step clicking on OK or Cancel clicking on Cancel.

 

Every visible panel will be accessible via tabs localized above chart area. But this is not the only way to organize them. You can dock panels everywhere in your window. To arrange that, click and hold on panel caption and move to selected position.
