       Using XRatel Probe Explorer

[ Main Window | Panel Management | Time Management | Profile Management ]

       Time Window View

Using the Time Window View at the bottom of the screen, you can navigate through historical data. If XRatel Historian Service is enabled, you can use the Realtime View, that will show you data as it is captured. If the Realtime View is not enabled, you can freely navigate through captured data.

The Start and End fields can be used to set the range of the chart. The difference between the end and the start fields is called Span. It is composed by two boxes where the left one represents the days between it and the right one indicates the hours, minutes and seconds.

Between the end field and the Realtime View button there is a lock button. This button is used to lock or unlock the span. When locked, the span is constant and if one of the time fields is changed the another one will be updated without changing the span. If it is unlocked, you can change the start and end fields freely and the span will be automatically updated.

The red bar indicates which time window is currently shown on the chart. You can freely move it by drag-and-drop, as well as resize it to be able to shrink or grow the visualization interval.

Realtime View button allows you to select the refresh rate of the chart, letting you easily manage which rate is the best of your system.
