Report Config is a tool that configures reports of monitored probe. The configuration is stored in a general profile named ReportData containing all reports. The configuration is easy and quick. Report Configuration allows you to make reports of probes defined in OPC Server alike.
The reports can be configured in a scheduler, composed by a graphical interface, or via Command Line.
Main Window
To start the configuration of the reports you must connect to Historian Service running in a local or remote host. By connecting to a server, the list of reports referring to it will be filled automatically. You may also disconnect from a server and then, connect to another one.

The Report Configuration main window provides a list of all defined reports in the server that it is connected to. In the list you will find some simple information about the schedule and status of each one of them, these include the last and next run times and the schedule settings. Clicking a report launches the Report Settings window, where you can edit it. Any item of the list can be deleted, disabled or enabled directly in the list. To disable a report guarantees that it won't be generated until its enabling.

At any time, the server host can be changed through the Connect button. You can only connect with another host after disconnection. To disconnect from the server use the Disconnect button.

On Home Tab there is the Report Toolbar too, where you can find Add Report button, available since a connection is established. Clicking on it will open an empty Report Settings window. You can create a report using the context menu too.

The reports can be removed from the list by pressing the delete key or via Remove Report button on Report Toolbar. By removing a report, all reference to its configuration will be lost.
To disable a report without removing it, just uncheck it's status checkbox in the list, as referred above, or its enabled checkbox on Report Settings window.
As an option, the Report Settings may also be shown by double-clicking on the list or by the Report Settings button on Report Toolbar. |
